The oven shelf guard is simple, easy to fit and is designed to protect your hands and arms from the risk of nasty burns when reaching into the hot oven.
Whilst the oven shelf guard reaches the same temperature as the oven shelf – the special silicon material has low heat conductivity and helps to protect hands and arms from burning.
However, care must still be taken and it is advisable to use protection such as oven gloves when reaching into the hot oven as the dishes and plates will still hot.
The oven shelf guard can easily be removed for cleaning and is dishwasher safe.
